about me

if you have landed here... lucky me & thank you! i'm a natural light photographer, trying my best to capture the real you. not the 'one, two, three, say cheese! you'. this is a place where i upload some of my favorites from my sessions & of lately, my baby Luke is getting a lot of face time here as well:)

my name is jocelyn. i'm a redhead. i'm creative. i'm spontaneous. i'm a seattle, washington girl (born & raised) and haven't moved but one minute from the house i grew up in. you could say i'm deeply rooted! enjoy!

sunday recap, a photo essay

it was a house project weekend. the downside to living in a home built in the late 40′s is that it requires work. but the upside is i love work and projects and the extra charm a somewhat older house has. i however did not like the 70′s dated trim and doors. so far, we’ve changed all the baseboard and trim throughout the house- except fo the hallway. so this was the weekend of hallway love.

1. finally found a home for my anthro hardware (DIY buffet i redid a year or so ago) 2. old trim (yuck) 3. a snippet of the new trim, baseboard, black hardware and white doors 4. bennett’s twin- daniel came to help 5. it’s a twinnie shot! 6. i’ve been decluttering the house- and am in the throws of new pics for the fridge, which means new magnets 7. turquoise filler 8. sign above a closet door, just a reminder! 9. rebbie exhausted with the project 10. rebbie’s tail with paint on it 11. my living room looking like a yard sale (all the crap from the dining room is in the living room) 12. new ampersand sign for my picture wall found at a thrift shop

January 19, 2010 - 10:25 pm meg - Always love me a photo essay. Can't wait to see the hallway. Hope to make the new fridge photos. Love Rebel's painted tail...the same always happens to Rudes. And best of all hate, but love, that you found the '&' at a second hand store. You're good.
