i’m pretty proud of this first pic… sometimes the self timer is just spot on and i love seeing the outcome. it never matters that it’s not perfect. it’s definitely imperfectly perfect. i partly wish i had maybe done my hair and make-up for the occasion. boo. colin got into town on tuesday and my dad treated us to the biggest steaks ever. we just hung out in my dad’s backyard. 3 generations of brown’s… in the backyard i grew up kinda makes me teary. ok, makes me real teary. this was a farewell to colin and his clann (did you know that word is also irish for family?). we were spoiled for a month with the brown boys and i sure did love getting to know them on a day to day basis. see you soon family! (i’m headed to the desert at the end of the month for my birthday).

oh, and these kicks that justin is sporting… maybe the coolest thing i did the whole time justin was here was buy him these lovelies. wherever he went he was wearing them and bragging about them. i think he forgot i got them for him but still made me feel pretty important.
