Jocelyn K Brown Photography bio picture

about me

if you have landed here... lucky me & thank you! i'm a natural light photographer, trying my best to capture the real you. not the 'one, two, three, say cheese! you'. this is a place where i upload some of my favorites from my sessions & of lately, my baby Luke is getting a lot of face time here as well:)

my name is jocelyn. i'm a redhead. i'm creative. i'm spontaneous. i'm a seattle, washington girl (born & raised) and haven't moved but one minute from the house i grew up in. you could say i'm deeply rooted! enjoy!

how my garden grows

if i was stripped of everything i had- i would be happy as long as my hands could dig in dirt and i could watch my flowers grow (oh, as long as my family, husband and animals were sitting next to me). i can get lost in my yard for 6+hours- getting out there as soon as its warm enough- and staying out there til there is barely any light left. so, you can only imagine my excitement at all that is beginning to happen. below are the newest members to the yard (well, beginning last year). i have no idea why i’m so drawn to it but it can’t be helped.

March 16, 2010 - 11:52 am sandie brown - Jos, I know you don't remember her well but your Granma Moug could work out in the yard for hours on end...she never asked for help - there wasn't a thing she wouldn't do out there. when I see you out in the yard working hard in your grubby work clothes with your grimmy hands...i think of my mom.
