it’s always a huge compliment to get an email from someone saying that they were referred to me through a friend and that they love my blog. a huger compliment when they ask me if i’d be interested in doing a maternity/lifestyle session with them. i of course get huge knots in my stomach.. feeling like i don’t have enough shoots under my belt to handle such a momentous time. i of course say i would love to and then follow it up with if you are looking for something more studioish or traditional then i’m probably not your gal…. and then wait to hear what they say. *i should know by now that if they like my blog then they know what i am all about and am working on that:) rowena wanted what i had to offer and i’m so glad. we met up in georgetown on a pretty cold afternoon. she jumped out of the car and all i could see was her adorable belly and huge smile. i knew we would work well together. her husband mark was a trooper… having to relax his jaw often and after the shoot i heard he kept telling rowena under his breath that she owed him for doing this. but these two are so adorable. and the sun was out for maybe 10 minutes and i told her quick! lets do a belly shot! and am loving the way they turned out. enjoy the pictures.. and my novel.
