runaway balloons, golden light and teddy bears
just a few of my favorite things about this session. karen has been patiently waiting for her and lily’s pics. well, they were suppose to just be lily, but it became a mama and daughter thing, which i’m happy about. i typically like shooting ‘connections’, rather than poses, so it’s much easier to do when...
these little piggies went to the market… and these little piggies…
always. always. always. when ryan is in town… we got to the market with my pops. and we eat. and we walk. and we eat again.
the golden hour
not too long ago, i was in a field with this little one.. her mom, her stuffed bears and a handful of balloons. oh, and the light? was kind of amazing. soon. these will be done soon.

the murphy family
this family contacted me from lacey- wanting to meet up and have their family pictures done but the weather wouldn’t cooperate for a month or so. so thanksgiving weekend, they were passing through and we made a go of it. have i mentioned how cold and windy it was, but that they were total troopers...
getting to be a bit more merry
boxes came down friday night. lights began to get hung saturday morning. we ran around most the day saturday looking for odds and ends. we got home that evening and started making things a bit more merry in the whitsell household. bennett predicted that we would see snow and he was right (the teensiest of...
